What you will do

• Develop comprehensive design documentation and architectural diagrams using frameworks like C4, 4+1, or TOGAF.
• Define system integration points and document data exchange requirements for external agencies and vendors.
• Establish project structures and conduct code reviews within C# and .NET Core environments.
• Identify technical risks, document tradeoffs, and ensure compliance with security policies.
• Facilitate workshops and steering committee meetings to present implementation options to executive leadership.
• Research emerging technologies and information-sharing standards to maintain enterprise alignment.

Requirements

• Extensive background in software development and design using Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Hands-on experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) and REST/SOAP web services.
• Advanced knowledge of SQL Server, ETL processes (SSIS), and diverse database technologies.
• Expertise in XML/XSLT, JSON, and Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) frameworks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Visio, Azure DevOps, and Git source control.
• Must be located in or able to work onsite in Topeka, KS.

Nice to have

• Experience with C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, and Entity Framework.
• Knowledge of IT security best practices for securing applications.
• Experience in Public Safety or Government information-sharing environments.
