What you will do

• Build new features and enhance existing ones across the backend and frontend.
• Collaborate daily with the product team to scope work and perform end-of-day demos.
• Contribute to architectural and design decisions in coordination with the fractional CTO.
• Evolve AI/LLM and Neo4j knowledge-graph capabilities powering the platform.
• Resolve customer-reported bugs tracked in GitHub.

Requirements

• 6 to 10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, and React.
• Hands-on experience with Neo4j (graph database) and GraphQL.
• Production-level AI/LLM integration experience beyond basic prompting.
• Experience working with or building MCP servers.
• 100% Eastern Time (ET) overlap during business hours.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Nice to have

• Experience with FastAPI or similar Python web frameworks.
• Background in regulated domains such as medical devices, pharma, or life sciences.
• Familiarity with vector databases, RAG, or agentic AI patterns.
• Experience with customer onboarding or workflow automation products.
