What you will do

• Ship features end-to-end from database schema design to pixel-perfect UI.
• Build and maintain scalable backend services using FastAPI and Python.
• Develop responsive web applications with React, Next.js, and TypeScript.
• Integrate AI capabilities and LLM agents into production systems.
• Ensure system reliability, performance, and security across the full stack.
• Mentor engineers and establish cross-stack best practices.

Requirements

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong Python skills with FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript skills with React and Next.js.
• Solid database fundamentals with PostgreSQL and SQL.
• Experience with REST API design and cloud platforms like GCP.
• Must be based in the US.

Nice to have

• Experience with agent frameworks like Pydantic AI or FastMCP.
• Background in scientific or technical product UX.
• Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform) and event-driven architectures.
• Knowledge of real-time communication (WebSockets, SSE).
