What you will do
- Design, develop, and maintain HiL test benches for the validation of autonomous driving software.
- Define and execute test strategies and validation plans based on safety goals and system requirements.
- Develop automated test scripts and frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.
- Integrate hardware and software components into HiL environments, managing interfaces and data flows.
- Conduct verification and validation (V&V) activities in alignment with ISO 26262 safety standards.
- Analyze test results and collaborate cross-functionally to resolve complex system-level issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's (5+ years exp) or Master's (3+ years exp) in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Robotics, or related field.
- Strong experience with Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) testing (e.g., dSPACE, National Instruments, Vector).
- Proficiency in Python and/or C++ for building test automation and tooling.
- Experience with ROS/ROS2, including node development and system debugging.
- Familiarity with CAN protocols and tools like CANoe or CANalyzer.
- Must be based in the United States.
Nice to have
- Experience testing autonomous vehicles or ADAS systems in production environments.
- Familiarity with simulation frameworks or model-based development tools.
- Experience with safety-critical system validation and regulatory requirements.
- Work experience in Agile or SAFe environments.
