What you will do

• Plan and execute simulation-based test campaigns for autonomous vehicle validation.
• Develop and expand the Scenario Library (Abstract, Logical, and Concrete scenarios) to improve ODD coverage.
• Collaborate with Product, Systems, and Safety teams to refine validation strategies.
• Identify testing gaps and propose improvements to simulation tools and frameworks.
• Perform triage of simulation results and develop dashboards for stakeholders.
• Partner with internal teams and external vendors to enhance virtual testing capabilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree with 6+ years or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in Computer Science, Robotics, or Systems Engineering.
• Experience with simulation and virtual testing of autonomous driving or perception systems.
• Proficiency in developing scenarios aligned with OpenSCENARIO standards.
• Strong Python scripting and YAML skills for data analysis and automation.
• Experience with system-level debugging and Linux environments.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience in automotive or safety-critical system validation.
• Experience with ROS (Robot Operating System).
• Experience validating sensor, traffic, or vehicle dynamics models.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers.
