Location: Remote (Spain). Must be based in Spain to represent the company before the Bank of Spain and SEPBLAC.

What you will do

• Represent the company before the Bank of Spain and SEPBLAC.
• Manage all regulatory activities related to the Spanish license for services across the EEA.
• Draft and maintain global and local compliance policies and processes.
• Implement regulatory programs including DORA, Operational resilience, Consumer Duty, AML, and Sanctions.
• Report on regulatory exposure and framework effectiveness to internal governance bodies.
• Collaborate with Product teams to integrate compliance by design.

Requirements

• 5-10 years of experience in payments compliance with a focus on non-financial risk.
• Expertise in EEA Payment Services Regulations and AML-CFT.
• Proven experience dealing with Spanish and EEA government agencies and regulators.
• Track record of managing global compliance programs across multiple jurisdictions.
• Proficiency in English is required.
• Must be based in Spain to act as the local representative.

Nice to have

• Expertise in UK payments regulation.
• Knowledge of regulations in US, Canada, South Africa, or Australia.
• Native or near-native Spanish language skills.
• Prior managerial experience.
