Salary: $130,000 – $210,000

What you will do

• Define and track key product metrics in collaboration with cross-functional partners.
• Design, run, and analyze A/B tests to evaluate the impact of new features.
• Perform data deep dives to explain trends and uncover actionable insights.
• Communicate findings to stakeholders to influence product decisions.
• Build dashboards and tools to help teams monitor metrics and make data-informed decisions.
• Explore and prototype ML applications to improve product quality, such as recommendations and spam detection.

Requirements

• BS or higher in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Physics, or a related quantitative field.
• 4+ years of industry data science experience, specifically in Trust & Safety or similar work.
• Proficiency in Python for data analysis (pandas, Jupyter) and strong SQL skills.
• Solid foundation in statistics and experimental design.
• Familiarity with BI tools like Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI.
• Must be based in the Bay Area or Chicago for hybrid office attendance.

Nice to have

• Exposure to machine learning practical tradeoffs in product settings.
• Experience with experimentation platforms like Statsig.
• Exposure to big data tools like Spark.
