TL;DR

What you will do

  • Develop and prototype strategies to benchmark the performance of autonomy systems.
  • Convert validation strategies into production-quality code for continuous and scaled software release cycles.
  • Analyze simulation, on-bench, and on-road performance data to provide actionable insights for AI developers.
  • Utilize data analytics to drive design, validation, risk analysis, and prioritization decisions.
  • Build and scale systems engineering testing products for software release and Embodied AI teams.
  • Establish and maintain coding best practices across the Software Validation organization.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Data Science, or related fields (completing by Spring 2026).
  • Experience in software engineering, preferably with overlap in robotics, systems analysis, or data analysis.
  • Proficiency in Python, C++, and SQL for analyzing large data sets and building simulation products.
  • Ability to utilize AI tools to accelerate software development.
  • Strong analytical thinking and the ability to operate under ambiguity.
  • Excellent communication skills for both high-level and detailed technical discussions.

Nice to have

  • Experience with safety-critical projects, specifically verification and validation tools.
  • Background in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or ADAS development.
  • Experience with robotics simulation environments.
  • Ability to analyze automotive collision data.
  • Experience creating data visualizations using Looker or Jupyter notebooks.
