What you will do
- Develop and prototype strategies to benchmark the performance of autonomy systems.
- Convert validation strategies into production-quality code for continuous and scaled software release cycles.
- Analyze simulation, on-bench, and on-road performance data to provide actionable insights for AI developers.
- Utilize data analytics to drive design, validation, risk analysis, and prioritization decisions.
- Build and scale systems engineering testing products for software release and Embodied AI teams.
- Establish and maintain coding best practices across the Software Validation organization.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, Data Science, or related fields (completing by Spring 2026).
- Experience in software engineering, preferably with overlap in robotics, systems analysis, or data analysis.
- Proficiency in Python, C++, and SQL for analyzing large data sets and building simulation products.
- Ability to utilize AI tools to accelerate software development.
- Strong analytical thinking and the ability to operate under ambiguity.
- Excellent communication skills for both high-level and detailed technical discussions.
Nice to have
- Experience with safety-critical projects, specifically verification and validation tools.
- Background in robotics, autonomous vehicles, or ADAS development.
- Experience with robotics simulation environments.
- Ability to analyze automotive collision data.
- Experience creating data visualizations using Looker or Jupyter notebooks.
