What you will do

• Perform quarterly reserve reviews across GAAP, IFRS 17, and Solvency UK bases for Non-Property business.
• Communicate analysis results and provide actionable insights to key business stakeholders.
• Deliver regular reserving reporting and statutory submissions for Lloyd’s and other entities.
• Collaborate with auditors, regulators, and external service providers on reserving matters.
• Enhance actuarial methods, tools, and documentation to improve loss trend monitoring.
• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and control within the reserving cycle.

Requirements

• Minimum 2:1 degree in a numerate subject.
• 1-2 years of actuarial experience in General Insurance.
• Currently studying towards Actuarial qualifications.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Must be based in London for hybrid working.

Nice to have

• Experience with VBA, SQL, Python, Tableau, or Power BI.
• Familiarity with professional actuarial reserving tools.
