Location: Hybrid (London, UK): 3 days in office, up to 2 days remote.

What you will do

• Support annual risk assessments and the development of a risk-based audit plan.
• Evaluate internal controls, governance frameworks, and risk management processes.
• Perform detailed walkthroughs of financial and business processes.
• Test the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting and draft actionable recommendations.
• Execute operational audits and monitor the timely resolution of identified issues.
• Collaborate with business partners to understand operational changes and risk drivers.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years of experience in Internal Audit or Public Accounting.
• Must be based in London, United Kingdom.
• Exposure to the London Market or general insurance industry.
• Progress toward or willingness to pursue CIA, CA, ACA, or CPA certifications.
• Knowledge of Solvency II, IFRS 17, and Principles for doing business at Lloyd’s.
• Familiarity with Global Internal Audit Standards, SOX, and PCAOB Auditing Standards.

Nice to have

• Experience in data analytics for audit purposes.
• Exposure to technology and operational risk audits within insurance.
• Interest in emerging risks such as AI in insurance, ESG, or cyber.
