TL;DR

Lead Enterprise Software Engineer (Backend): Building and optimizing robust end-user applications and tools for critical business domains with an accent on architectural design, performance tuning, and system integration. Focus on leading the development of intricate software, implementing new technologies, and mentoring junior engineers to ensure high code quality.

Location: Hybrid (8 days/month) in Cary, NC. Must be based in the USA.

Salary: $107,500.00 - $188,400.00 USD

What you will do

  • Lead the design and development of complex enterprise software applications.
  • Perform rigorous code reviews to maintain high quality and stability.
  • Develop and execute strategies for troubleshooting complex technical issues.
  • Conduct comprehensive performance testing and tuning to optimize system efficiency.
  • Manage technical documentation and oversee the adoption of new methodologies.
  • Provide technical mentorship and guidance to junior engineering staff.

Requirements

  • Expertise in Java, Python, C#, or similar programming languages.
  • Mastery of Git or equivalent version control systems.
  • Proven ability to lead performance testing and technical documentation efforts.
  • Strong leadership skills for guiding junior engineers and improving processes.
  • Willingness to attend in-person interviews at a hirify.global office.
