Associate Data Engineer

Location: Chicago, Illinois; hybrid workplace. Willingness to travel 50% or more to support client projects and shadowing opportunities.

Salary: $80,000–$88,000 per year in on-target earnings, including base salary and any applicable target bonus.

What you will do

• Complete a three-month technical training program within the Digital Solutions Group’s Data practice.
• Contribute to client data projects after completing the LAUNCH program.
• Collaborate across teams, communicate effectively, and build positive working relationships.
• Analyze issues, solve complex problems, and recommend innovative technology solutions.
• Manage competing priorities and deliver project work on schedule.

Requirements

• Experience with at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, Scala, or Go.
• Working knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases and supporting data structures.
• Existing U.S. work authorization is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
• Willingness to travel 50% or more for client projects and shadowing opportunities.
• Technical degree completed by January 11, 2027, a technical bootcamp, or relevant intern, co-op, research, or application development experience.

Nice to have

• Understanding of Hadoop, Spark, Databricks, Snowflake, or another data platform.
• Working knowledge of cloud solutions.
