Salary: $145,000 - $190,000 a year

What you will do

• Troubleshoot and resolve complex backend issues involving REST APIs, databases, and distributed applications.
• Develop, enhance, and document backend functionality in GitLab using DevOps practices.
• Collaborate with Agile teams on sprint planning, standups, and testing via Jira/Confluence.
• Deliver scalable solutions using Python, C#, or Java for analytics, exploitation, production, and dissemination.
• Support incident response procedures and integrate open-source/GOTS solutions into enterprise systems.
• Apply cloud computing to modify backend systems and APIs for data visualization and filtering.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with 8+ years relevant experience or Master’s with 6+ years
• Active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI post-hire
• DoD 8570 compliance (Security+ or higher)
• 3+ years in Python and C#/Java frameworks
• 4+ years with unit testing, CI/CD tools, and GitLab
• Strong experience troubleshooting REST APIs, backend databases, and distributed applications
• Familiarity with Agile/DevOps best practices and iterative testing support

Nice to have

• Linux and/or Windows system administration experience
• Familiarity with DoD Aeronautical Datasets
• Experience with AWS CloudFormation and cloud deployments
• Exposure to Node, NPM, REST API development, and Swashbuckle
• DevOps or C# Developer certifications
• Strong technical documentation and collaboration skills
