What you will do

• Clean and transform raw datasets from surveys, assessments, and learning analytics into analysable formats for standard and customized reporting.
• Conduct descriptive, exploratory, and inferential analyses (regression, clustering, ANOVA) to identify patterns and trends.
• Design and maintain dashboards, infographics, and visual summaries to communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate new pilots and prototypes using data-informed methods.
• Perform data linking with large national and international datasets to produce institutional briefs and publications.
• Ensure data ethics and strict compliance with GDPR, including anonymization and secure storage protocols.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in educational research, statistics, or a closely related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in a relevant research analyst role.
• Proficiency in Python, R, or other advanced data analysis tools.
• Strong foundation in statistics, including distributions, sampling, and inferential methods.
• Deep understanding of educational datasets and structures.
• Must have legal authorization to work in the Netherlands, UK, or USA.

Nice to have

• Proficiency in Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience using survey platforms such as Qualtrics.
• Knowledge of responsible AI, data bias, and educational data justice.
