TL;DR
Service Desk Engineer (Fintech): Participating in incident recording and resolution with an accent on Terraform, SRE fundamentals, and scripting in Go/Python. Focus on communication with engineering leads and product managers, and identifying bottlenecks.
Location: Remote/Poland. Work from anywhere in Europe.

What you will do
- Use Terraform for infrastructure management.
- Apply SRE fundamentals, including SLO/SLI, error budget, and toil management.
- Write scripts/CLIs in Go/Python against REST APIs to export data to a database.
- Manage Jira Service Management, including JQL/CRUD, webhooks, and SLA/escalations.
- Deploy small tasks on Google Cloud Run/Functions and use BigQuery.
- Participate in incident recording and resolution, collaborating with engineering and product teams.
Requirements
- Prior hands-on experience with Terraform.
- Strong understanding of SRE fundamentals.
- Proficiency in Go/Python for scripting against REST APIs.
- Experience with Jira Service Management API and Automation.
- Basic knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Communication (English B2+): ability to run war-rooms and facilitate meetings.
Nice to have
- Experience with Google Cloud Functions (GCF).
- Experience in fintech.
- Knowledge of Kubernetes components.
