What you will do

• Design and develop new automation setups from early concept through to prototype.
• Create schematics and build/wire electrical cabinets according to Swiss/EU standards.
• Program and commission PLCs for production and R&D setups.
• Integrate and program collaborative robots, specifically Universal Robots (UR) and Polyscope 5.
• Install and maintain automated machines for rocket motor and pyrotechnic component manufacturing.
• Troubleshoot electrical and control system faults and perform preventive maintenance.

Requirements

• Completed vocational training (EFZ) as an automation technician or electrician.
• 2–3 years of professional experience in automation or industrial controls.
• Certification to build and wire electrical cabinets independently.
• Proficiency in PLC programming using structured text (e.g., Wago, Codesys).
• Experience with cobot integration (Universal Robots/Polyscope 5).
• Strong knowledge of Swiss SUVA regulations and machine safety standards.

Nice to have

• ESTI Certification.
• German language proficiency.
