What you will do

• Develop system architectures, requirements, and interface specifications for cabin air distribution systems including electrical valves and heaters.
• Create test plans and procedures, conduct lab and aircraft testing, analyze data, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with standards like DO-160, DO-178, DO-254, ARP4754A, and prepare certification documentation.
• Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, software, safety teams, and support manufacturing and supply chain.
• Participate in design reviews, hazard analyses, and system safety assessments.

Requirements

• University degree in aeronautical, mechanical, or mechatronics engineering.
• 5+ years in aerospace mechanical systems development, integration, and certification.
• Experience with aircraft environmental control systems (ECS)/ATA 21 or similar subsystems.
• Ability to interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and system architectures.
• Experience with requirements tools (e.g., DOORS), safety analyses (FMEA, FTA), and data analysis.
• Good English required; German is a plus.
