What you will do

• Design, develop, test, debug, and document ObjectScript-based solutions in InterSystems IRIS and HealthShare
• Build and maintain HealthShare productions, business services, processes, and operations
• Configure, troubleshoot, and analyze runtime in IRIS/HealthShare Management Portal
• Develop FHIR, HL7, and REST-based integrations, custom classes, and APIs
• Participate in code reviews, performance tuning, refactoring, and Tier 3 support
• Collaborate with architects, QA, and DevOps on CI/CD pipelines and security configurations
• Contribute to technical documentation and best practices

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
• 3–5 years software development experience, including 2+ years on InterSystems Cache, IRIS, or HealthShare
• Strong hands-on experience with ObjectScript, IRIS/HealthShare Management Portal, and HealthShare productions
• Experience with FHIR APIs, HL7 v2, RESTful services, and debugging production message flows
• Familiarity with CI/CD for InterSystems, Unix/Linux environments, and Agile/SAFe methodologies
• Ability to obtain government clearance required

Nice to have

• Experience supporting VA or federal healthcare systems
• Exposure to Jenkins, Git, or automated deployment pipelines for InterSystems
• InterSystems certifications (IRIS, HealthShare, or Cache)
