Web Gateway HealthShare Engineer

TL;DR

Web Gateway HealthShare Engineer (HealthShare): Implementing InterSystems Web Gateway solutions and providing full lifecycle support of Apache configurations on HealthShare and IRIS for Health systems with an accent on automation, CI/CD pipelines, and performance testing. Focus on Tier 3 support, installation/configuration, oAuth/SSO setup, and migration to OpenID Connect.

Location: Remote within continental US; must reside within the continental US (Austin, TX)

What you will do

• Develop strategies for automating operations and streamlining software delivery processes.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines, perform backups, recovery, patching, and ADFS integration.
• Support load and performance testing in production and lower environments.
• Provide Tier 3 support for InterSystems HealthShare and IRIS for Health systems.
• Handle installation, configuration of InterSystems software, kits, and patches.
• Configure oAuth, SSO, and support migration to OpenID Connect.

Requirements

• Must reside within the continental US.
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical discipline.
• 3-5 years IT experience, including 2+ years supporting large production systems; Federal Government contracting preferred.
• Experience with InterSystems Cache, IRIS, or HealthShare.
• Experience automating infrastructure/testing/deployment with Jenkins, Ansible.
• Experience with AWS, Linux (RHEL-8), Apache, Python scripting, monitoring (CloudWatch, DynaTrace, Splunk), GitHub/Jenkins CI/CD.
• Knowledge of Agile/SAFe methodologies.
• Unable to offer sponsorship; background check and fingerprinting required.

Nice to have

• Direct experience with Department of Veterans Affairs or large Federal Agencies.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect-Associate.
• Ability to obtain Government clearance.
