What you will do

• Build and evolve core risk systems and decisioning infrastructure.
• Design scalable backend services for fraud prevention and compliance.
• Improve data instrumentation and observability for risk analysis.
• Partner with data, security, compliance, and support teams on controls.
• Iterate on risk rules to optimize fraud detection accuracy.
• Contribute to internal tools for investigations and efficiency.
• Mentor engineers and define technical direction for the Risk team.

Requirements

• Fluency in English required.
• 5+ years as software engineer.
• Strong backend experience with scalable systems.
• Solid system design, data flows, performance optimization.
• Collaborative cross-functional experience.
• Comfort in ambiguous spaces with ownership focus.

Nice to have

• Experience with risk, fraud, AML, trust & safety.
• Familiarity with Node.js, Kubernetes, Kafka, Datadog, AWS.
• Fintech or regulated environments.
• Interest in Bitcoin.
