What you will do

• Design and implement integrations with EHR platforms including Epic, Oracle Health, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, and others.
• Build and maintain HL7 FHIR (R4/R5) and HL7 v2.x interfaces for clinical data exchange.
• Develop full-stack features across frontend (React, Angular, or Vue) and backend (Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET) layers.
• Implement OAuth 2.0 and SMART on FHIR authentication flows for app launch and patient integrations.
• Ensure all integrations comply with HIPAA, HL7, and ONC interoperability regulations.
• Collaborate with clinical informatics, product, and QA teams to translate healthcare workflows into technical requirements.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on experience integrating with leading ambulatory EHR platforms (Epic, Cerner, athenahealth, etc.) — hard requirement.
• Proficiency with HL7 FHIR (R4 or R5) and RESTful API development.
• Familiarity with HL7 v2.x message formats and SMART on FHIR/OAuth 2.0 authorization flows.
• Solid full-stack development skills, comfortable working across the entire application stack.
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
• Must be based in the US.
