What you will do

• Manage hybrid cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and on-premises platforms using Microsoft or Linux stacks.
• Optimize infrastructure for security, performance, reliability, and cost.
• Collaborate with Engineering teams to advance DevOps practices and closer collaboration.
• Monitor systems, resolve issues, and implement solutions for high availability.
• Maintain technical documentation and operational processes.

Requirements

• Proven experience in AWS infrastructure design, deployment, and system administration.
• Strong understanding of Microsoft hybrid cloud and on-premises infrastructure.
• Proficiency in at least two of: Docker (ECS), Terraform, Ansible, CDK, AWS IaaS (EC2, VPC, Transit Gateway), CloudFlare, Windows Server (IIS), Linux, or Networking.
• Experience working with commercially focused software engineering teams using Agile/DevOps practices.
• Driving license and access to a vehicle for required travel to data center locations in the south of England.
• Exposure to ISO27001 or similar security standards (e.g., PCI-DSS).
