TL;DR
Deployment Implementation Consultant (Azure): Leading the deployment, configuration, and optimization of enterprise software solutions for public service clients with an accent on cloud infrastructure, automation, and database implementation. Focus on designing scalable Azure environments using Terraform and Kubernetes to ensure seamless go-live and operational readiness.
Location: Remote, must have pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK

What you will do
- Lead the installation, configuration, and deployment of software solutions across customer environments.
- Design and implement secure and scalable infrastructure on Microsoft Azure using Terraform.
- Configure and manage Kubernetes and Docker-based application deployments using GitOps (Flux CD).
- Install and maintain Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL environments, supporting migrations and performance tuning.
- Develop automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, and Python to streamline implementation activities.
- Collaborate with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery and knowledge transfer.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies.
- Hands-on expertise with Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code principles.
- Experience deploying and managing Kubernetes and Docker environments.
- Strong database administration experience with MS SQL Server and/or PostgreSQL.
- Proficiency in PowerShell and Bash scripting.
- Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK.
Nice to have
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure Solutions Architect).
- Kubernetes certifications (CKA, CKAD).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Python development or automation experience.
- Experience working within a software vendor, SaaS, or managed services environment.
