What you will do

• Configure and manage AWS networking components including VPCs, EC2, Load Balancers, Transit Gateway, and PrivateLink.
• Build automation with AWS CLI, Boto3, Terraform, and CloudFormation to deploy containerized workloads using Docker & Kubernetes.
• Implement IAM least-privilege access and utilize security tools such as Security Hub, GuardDuty, Macie, WAF, and Network Firewall.
• Lead encryption and secrets management using KMS & Secrets Manager.
• Support secure data transfers with AWS DataSync and AWS Transfer Family (SFTP).
• Drive monitoring, observability (CloudWatch, Dynatrace, Splunk), incident response, root-cause analysis, and service improvement.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with AWS infrastructure, automation, and observability tooling.
• Strong understanding of DNS, SSL/TLS, TCP/IP, and core networking principles.
• Practical experience leading production-grade cloud workloads.
• Work on a hybrid basis, at least two days per week in Leeds, Halifax, or Manchester, UK.
