hirify.global is developing a payment gateway for accepting funds from users on behalf of merchants and sending funds from merchants to users.

What you will do

  • Develop new payment features, services, and internal/external APIs.
  • Design and implement business processes using Camunda 8.
  • Contribute to the architecture of high-load systems and optimize MySQL queries.
  • Integrate complex external payment providers and ensure system compliance with PCI DSS.
  • Write high-quality, test-covered code and conduct code reviews for both backend and frontend.
  • Collaborate with QA and product managers to define and implement technical epics.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of commercial experience with Kotlin.
  • Proficiency in Spring Framework and microservices architecture.
  • Proven experience developing payment solutions such as billing, gateways, or processors.
  • Experience with MySQL, Redis, and Apache Kafka (Event-Driven Architecture).
  • Ability to use AI-assisted coding tools to improve development speed while ensuring production-ready quality.
  • English proficiency level B1 or higher.

Nice to have

  • Experience with creating and supporting processes in Camunda.
  • Solid understanding of PCI DSS and ISO 27001 standards.
  • Practical experience working with AWS.
