Lead Hardware Solutions Architect (AI): Own and coordinate RTL modifications for custom NEO configurations to meet diverse customer silicon needs with an accent on bridging customer engineers and internal DV teams. Focus on evaluating changes for performance, power, area, system impact, and ensuring scalability in AI chip architectures.

Location: Hybrid, based out of Toronto, Ontario, Canada; Austin, TX; or Belgrade, Serbia. Employment contingent on eligibility to access U.S. export-controlled technology; may require U.S. citizenship/permanent residency or license approval due to EAR restrictions on certain countries.

Compensation: $100k - $500k including base and variable (experience, skills, location impact offer).

What you will do

• Lead RTL customization for NEO, owning customer-specific configurations and changes.
• Translate customer silicon requirements into RTL and verification work items.
• Assess hardware changes for impact on system behavior, firmware, and software stacks.
• Drive convergence on secure, reliable, scalable custom silicon solutions.
• Coordinate silicon, system, and software teams around customer outcomes.

Requirements

• Experienced RTL and silicon architect understanding full-chip and subsystem design tradeoffs.
• Ability to evaluate RTL changes for performance, power, area, and system impact.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration keeping customers, design, and DV aligned.
• Mentoring skills to set technical direction and support junior engineers.
• Eligible for U.S. export-controlled technology access per EAR (Country Groups D:1, E:1, E:2 restrictions).
