Senior Finance Officer

TL;DR

Senior Finance Officer: Ensuring sound financial management and oversight of hirify.global’s financial operations across the assigned region with an accent on budgeting, compliance, and strategic financial planning. Focus on monitoring budget implementation, analyzing financial results, conducting BvA reviews, and supporting emergency operations financially.

Location: Tel Aviv, Israel (Hybrid). Willingness to travel internationally as needed.

Non-profit humanitarian aid agency dedicated to supporting populations in crisis, operating in 10 countries with headquarters in Tel Aviv.

What you will do

• Support budgeting and planning for heads of mission and country finance teams, providing strategic financial input.
• Monitor financial control, review accounting records, prepare BvA reports, and analyze over/under spending.
• Ensure compliance with regulators and donors, conduct financial analysis, and develop financial models using NetSuite ERP.
• Support emergency operations: monitor cash flow, review expenses, and assist in recruitment during initial phases; issue statements and assist in budget design post-stabilization.
• Manage transactions, support audits, and develop streamlined financial templates.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related field.
• Fluent English; other languages a huge advantage.
• 4+ years in financial management and accounting, ideally in nonprofit sector.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel.
• Experience with financial ERP systems (advantage).
• Experience working internationally (advantage); willingness to travel internationally as needed.
• Excellent people skills, flexibility, self-starter, detail-oriented.
