Chief Technology Officer (Health)

TL;DR

Chief Technology Officer (Health): Design and execute technology strategies across government health programs and agencies with an accent on DevSecOps, DataOps, AnalyticOps, Cloud/SaaS best practices. Focus on aligning tech resources with organizational goals, managing budgets and KPIs, and driving business opportunities through pilots, proofs-of-concept, and innovation strategies.

Location: Hybrid in Columbia, MD (Eastern Time Zone, expected 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM ET). Occasional travel (<5% per year).

Salary: $250,000 - $300,000

What you will do

• Design and execute technical strategies, processes, and best practices (DevSecOps, DataOps, AnalyticOps, Cloud/SaaS) across customer programs.
• Supervise department budgets, monitor KPIs, and assess technological performance.
• Develop customer relationships to create pilots, proofs-of-concept, and white papers leading to business opportunities.
• Lead alignment between hirify.global teams and customer teams to achieve mission objectives.
• Sit on executive committee to align technology with organizational goals.
• Stay current on emerging technologies, trends, and agency objectives to inform strategies.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or related field
• 15+ years experience developing, architecting, and managing software products/services
• Proven technical leadership in agile methods and managing large engineering teams
• Experience with multiple agencies, large budgets, and driving organic business opportunities
• Expertise in latest technologies and information security practices
• Strong communication, strategic thinking, leadership, and multitasking skills

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Administration or related
• AWS Solutions Architect Professional or related cloud certifications
• Experience with Platform One, Cloud One, milCloud, or Kessel Run
