Senior Product Manager, Bidding (AdTech)

TL;DR

Principal Product Manager (AdTech): Developing and optimizing advanced auction technology and bidding systems to connect vendors with customers with an accent on real-time auctions and marketplace optimization. Focus on designing auction algorithms and leveraging machine learning to drive marketplace revenue and vendor engagement.

Location: Hybrid in Berlin, Germany (2 days a week in office)

What you will do

• Define and execute the long-term product vision and strategy for bidding and auction experiences across the global platform.
• Partner with senior leadership to align bidding initiatives with business objectives, managing roadmap planning and resource allocation.
• Guide technical decisions on auction algorithms and optimization systems by collaborating with ML engineering teams.
• Innovate in bid optimization, dynamic pricing systems, and vendor intent prediction through experimentation and analysis.
• Lead end-to-end bidding product development from ideation through launch and optimization.
• Act as a global leader by researching cutting-edge auction technologies and mentoring technical PM capabilities.

Requirements

• 8-12+ years of product management experience, with 6+ years specifically in bidding, auction systems, or marketplace monetization.
• Strong technical background in data science, machine learning, and statistical analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Python, R, SQL, Spark, and TensorFlow/PyTorch.
• Deep understanding of real-time bidding, optimization algorithms, and pricing models.
• Experience with experimentation frameworks and statistical methods for product optimization.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Berlin campus 2 days a week.
