Salary: €3,059 – €3,881 gross per month

What you will do

• Research the limits of detection for causal assumption violations.
• Develop new data-driven detection methods for assumption violations, focusing on positivity.
• Incorporate violations into causal models and design mitigation procedures.
• Investigate these methods in simple, high-dimensional, and longitudinal settings.
• Collaborate with experts in computer science, mathematics, biostatistics, and epidemiology within the Safe Causal Inference consortium.

Requirements

• Master’s degree in a relevant quantitative field (statistics, computer science, mathematics, econometrics, physics, etc.).
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to program in Python, R, Julia, or similar scientific programming languages.
• Strong interest in understanding and developing statistical and machine learning methods.
• Critical thinking and an open mind.
