What you will do

• Design and develop formalization and validation strategies tailored for scientific applications.
• Build formal and informal verification pipelines for scientific reasoning.
• Conduct data analysis, curation, and systematic benchmarking to evaluate performance and analyze design flaws.
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team of mathematicians, physicists, and AI engineers.
• Continuously integrate state-of-the-art research and technologies to enhance product impact.

Requirements

• PhD in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, or related fields.
• Experience in machine learning applications with publications at top-tier conferences.
• Proficiency in Python with the ability to write clean and efficient code in shared code bases.
• Experience with major deep learning and agentic AI frameworks.
• Solid understanding of statistics and probability.
• Must be based in or able to work hybrid in Barcelona, Spain

Nice to have

• Background in Physics, Engineering, or other related computational science.
• Internship or work experience in a top AI company.
• Expertise in agentic LLMs, RAG, program synthesis, NLP, LLM fine-tuning, knowledge graphs, or reinforcement learning.
• Proven contributions to open source projects.
