Junior Software Quality Engineer (Fintech)

Location: Hybrid in Dundee, UK (must attend the office at least 3 days per week)

What you will do

• Validate software builds and documentation against specific customer requirements.
• Apply testing processes for both new and existing currency templates.
• Plan and prioritize testing activities in coordination with the QA Lead.
• Analyze bugs and errors found during tests and communicate findings to the development team.
• Maintain thorough QA checklists and record comprehensive documentation.
• Review product documents and provide feedback to improve development outcomes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively as a team player.
• Must be based in or able to work from the Dundee office at least 3 days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience using Jira and Git version control systems.
• Knowledge or experience with cash recycling device hardware.
