Location: Hybrid; must be based in or be able to commute to London and Welwyn Garden City offices 3 days a week

What you will do

• Develop and scale GenAI products, moving from rapid prototypes to production-grade solutions combining data, backend services, and UIs.
• Design and implement LLM-based applications and AI agents for intelligent decision-making and automation.
• Create shared AI capabilities, including libraries, templates, and evaluation suites, to standardize GenAI adoption across squads.
• Build and maintain responsive web interfaces using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to translate business needs into technical architectures.
• Provide technical leadership through design reviews, mentoring, and promoting CI/CD and observability standards.

Requirements

• Strong professional experience as a senior software engineer delivering production systems.
• Solid backend engineering proficiency in Python or similar languages, including API design and operational support.
• Practical experience building LLM-powered applications such as copilots, assistants, or agent-based workflows.
• Working knowledge of React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript for building production web interfaces.
• Proficiency in HTML and CSS with a focus on usability, accessibility, and performance.
• Ability to manage technical trade-offs and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
