TL;DR
Software Development Engineer III (GenAI/Fullstack): Building and operating GenAI powered products, including LLM based applications and agentic workflows, with an accent on reliability, guardrails, and real user impact. Focus on translating complex business problems into production-grade solutions across data, backend services, and user-facing applications.
Location: Hybrid; must be based in or be able to commute to London and Welwyn Garden City offices 3 days a week

What you will do
- Develop and scale GenAI products, moving from rapid prototypes to production-grade solutions combining data, backend services, and UIs.
- Design and implement LLM-based applications and AI agents for intelligent decision-making and automation.
- Create shared AI capabilities, including libraries, templates, and evaluation suites, to standardize GenAI adoption across squads.
- Build and maintain responsive web interfaces using React, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and data scientists to translate business needs into technical architectures.
- Provide technical leadership through design reviews, mentoring, and promoting CI/CD and observability standards.
Requirements
- Strong professional experience as a senior software engineer delivering production systems.
- Solid backend engineering proficiency in Python or similar languages, including API design and operational support.
- Practical experience building LLM-powered applications such as copilots, assistants, or agent-based workflows.
- Working knowledge of React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript for building production web interfaces.
- Proficiency in HTML and CSS with a focus on usability, accessibility, and performance.
- Ability to manage technical trade-offs and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
