What you will do

• Build and ship AI-powered features end-to-end, from initial prototype through to production deployment.
• Design and implement integrations with LLMs and AI services, including tool use, agents, and orchestration patterns.
• Develop and maintain reliable, scalable backend services and APIs within a multi-tenant B2B SaaS environment.
• Collaborate with Product and Design teams to identify opportunities where AI can meaningfully improve the user experience.
• Contribute to internal AI tooling, developer experience, and shared knowledge of AI development practices.

Requirements

• Practical experience building software with LLMs (e.g., LangChain, LlamaIndex, OpenAI, or Anthropic API).
• Strong backend development skills, primarily using TypeScript and Node.js.
• Ability to work across the stack, including the capacity to implement React components when necessary.
• Proficiency with REST APIs, async patterns, and databases such as MongoDB or PostgreSQL.
• Must be based in the UK

Nice to have

• Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar agent protocols.
• Familiarity with AWS services including Lambda, Bedrock, SageMaker, and S3.
• Knowledge of vector databases, embeddings, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) patterns.
• Experience with graph databases, knowledge graph modelling, or Python for ML/data work.
• Understanding of AI safety, governance, and responsible AI practices.
