Junior MLRO (Fintech)

TL;DR

Junior MLRO (Fintech/Compliance): Supporting the AML and Compliance functions of a fast-growing Electronic Money Institution with an accent on transaction monitoring and regulatory reporting. Focus on investigating suspicious activities, performing enhanced due diligence, and implementing remediation actions according to the Bank of Lithuania.

Location: Hybrid (3 days office, 2 days remote) in Vilnius, Lithuania

A fast-growing Electronic Money Institution (EMI) headquartered in Vilnius with German roots, serving international clients with payments and financial services.

What you will do

• Investigate and analyze unusual or suspicious transactions according to AML/CFT regulations.
• Support the MLRO in preparing and submitting internal and external AML and Compliance reports.
• Execute client onboarding tasks including KYC, enhanced due diligence, and ongoing monitoring.
• Assist in implementing remediation actions following Bank of Lithuania action plans.
• Support the oversight of AML/CTF, Sanctions, and Fraud policies and controls.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and deliver AML/Compliance training for employees.

Requirements

• Experience in AML, Compliance, or Financial Crime within FinTech, banking, or payments (ideally 2-4 years).
• Solid understanding of AML/CFT regulations and transaction monitoring processes.
• Native proficiency in Lithuanian.
• Fluent in English.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.
