About the Role

You will own Reap's web3 capabilities and lead wallet infrastructure discovery and development for the Card product. You will design and deploy production-grade smart contracts across blockchains (Solana, Ethereum), build backend services in Node.js and TypeScript to support on-chain functionality, collaborate with product and business teams to translate ideas into secure technical execution, contribute to architecture decisions, participate in code reviews and security audits, and leverage AI tools and modern practices to increase engineering efficiency.

Requirements

• 5-8+ years in software development with backend engineering experience in Node.js/TypeScript and AWS or similar cloud infrastructure
• 3+ years building smart contracts on Solana (Rust) or Ethereum (Solidity) with strong expertise in at least one
• Experience building wallet infrastructure (hot and cold wallets)
• Strong product sense and ability to take end-to-end ownership of technical initiatives
• Demonstrated use of AI tools to boost development efficiency
• Clear communication, collaboration, and commitment to code quality
• Fintech sector experience is ideal

Responsibilities

• Lead wallet infrastructure discovery and development and architect wallet solutions
• Build backend services in Node.js and TypeScript to support on-chain functionality
• Collaborate with product and business teams to translate ideas into secure technical execution
• Contribute to architecture decisions, code reviews, and security audits
• Leverage AI tools and modern development practices to drive engineering efficiency
