What you will do

• Build and maintain high-quality integrations between hirify.global's platform and third-party HRIS systems like ADP and Workday.
• Design and develop new services using serverless, event-driven microservices architecture (AWS SAM/Lambda, EventBridge, SNS).
• Own and enhance public API platform, focusing on REST API design, OAuth, and inbound/outbound webhooks.
• Translate product requirements and business needs into design specifications and sprint stories.
• Collaborate with Product and UX teams to define requirements.
• Contribute to SDLC evolution and champion engineering best practices.

Requirements

• Exceptional communication skills and ability to thrive in multi-region remote-first environment.
• Pragmatic problem-solving with adaptability to changing requirements.
• Strong expertise in serverless architectures, specifically AWS SAM/Lambda.
• Deep experience with NoSQL databases, specifically DynamoDB.
• Proven experience designing and maintaining microservices and bounded contexts.
• REST API design, event-driven patterns (EventBridge, SNS), OAuth, webhooks.
• CI/CD with GitHub Actions.
• Experience developing full-stack web apps (Typescript, React, Node.js, APIs).
• B.S. in Computer Science or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience translating high-level requirements into technical plans in product engineering.
• Integrations with major HRIS systems (Workday, SAP, ADP).
• Familiarity with modern AI tools like Cursor.
