Focus on optimizing service performance, implementing serverless architectures, and ensuring system reliability for millions of global users.

Location: Remote (Ireland, Northern Ireland, UK)

What you will do

Develop fast, scalable backend services for a multi-tenant SAAS platform.
Collaborate with product and design teams to build high-impact business features.
Design and implement event-driven architectures using Docker and Serverless technologies.
Ensure software quality through high coding standards, unit testing, and acceptance tests.
Mentor team members via code reviews and technical whiteboarding sessions.
Identify and resolve system bottlenecks to improve overall performance.

Requirements

At least 3 years of professional experience with object-oriented software design, primarily in Java.
Proficiency in JavaScript fundamentals and modern developments.
Experience building and working with RESTful APIs.
Ability to analyze trade-offs regarding backend technologies.
Must be based in Ireland, Northern Ireland, or the UK.

Nice to have

Experience with GraphQL.
