IT Security Specialist (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Operate, develop, and monitor attack detection, prevention, and defence systems such as SIEM and IDS/IPS.
• Conduct threat, risk, and vulnerability analyses across internal system environments.
• Design and optimize cybersecurity strategies, concepts, and policies, including Zero Trust and defence-in-depth.
• Plan and assess technical measures that reduce security risks and support Security by Design and DevSecOps.
• Analyze, respond to, and follow up on security incidents.
• Support internal and external audits and collaborate with the CISO, IT Security Officer, data protection team, and external providers.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or IT Security, vocational training as an IT specialist, or a comparable qualification.
• Several years of experience in IT security, system administration, and/or network administration.
• Knowledge of SIEM, IAM, network security, and relevant standards and legal requirements including ISO 27001, BSIG, and NIS2.
• Strong analytical, communication, advisory, and independent working skills.
• Good written and spoken German and English are required.
• Willingness to travel occasionally.
