What you will do

• Define the visual style of environments across a range of upcoming video game projects.
• Collaborate with Code, Design, and Art teams to research and implement innovative technical approaches.
• Drive R&D into new software and art techniques by following emerging trends in games and visual effects.
• Establish best practices, workflows, and pipelines, while improving existing processes.
• Mentor, inspire, and train artists to ensure solid professional growth and technical foundations.
• Manage in-game budgets, ensure performance optimization, and handle team recruitment needs.

Requirements

• Extensive leadership experience shipping 3D game titles on multiple platforms.
• Strong aesthetic judgment and a creative eye to drive and critique visual quality.
• Deep understanding of the game development process from concept and pre-production to optimization.
• Technical proficiency with common and proprietary content creation tools.
• Competence with industry-standard task tracking software such as Jira and Excel.
• Permanent right to work in the UK is mandatory.
