What you will do

• Define and maintain artistic and technical quality standards for environment art.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of environment artists to ensure high-quality output.
• Create benchmark assets and reference scenes to guide visual direction.
• Establish scalable workflows for modeling, texturing, materials, and engine integration.
• Collaborate with Art Direction, Tech Art, Design, and Engineering to ensure visual and technical consistency.
• Oversee external partners and outsource teams to ensure work meets internal standards.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Lead Environment Artist or Principal Artist in game development.
• At least one shipped AA or AAA title in a senior or leadership capacity.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality real-time environment art.
• Deep understanding of real-time pipelines, ideally in Unreal Engine.
• Solid grasp of technical constraints including performance, memory, LODs, and shaders.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with experience in mentoring.
