Field Applications Engineer (Robotics)

What you will do

• Lead technical support and integration for SMART infrastructure, traffic systems, ITS, and security deployments.
• Provide on-site and remote support to ensure smooth installation, configuration, and sensor activation.
• Plan and execute field demo sessions and validation tests tailored to ITS scenarios.
• Coordinate technical alignment between customer engineering teams and internal Sales, R&D, and Application Engineering teams.
• Establish feedback loops and improve technical documentation based on field performance.

Requirements

• BSc in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
• 5+ years of engineering experience in hardware/software integration or system-level testing.
• Daily presence in the Munich office is required.
• Willingness to travel within Germany and Europe (approximately 20%).
• Fluent in English; German language skills are strongly preferred.
• Experience with LiDAR, ADAS, robotics, or sensor integration.
