What you will do

• Lead the execution of product development programs following established processes and procedures.
• Coordinate and motivate cross-functional teams to complete projects according to defined objectives.
• Develop detailed project work plans, schedules, and manage requirements traceability.
• Lead design reviews and risk management activities.
• Manage technical partners and vendors supporting product development.
• Facilitate project team meetings and prepare management presentations.

Requirements

• Must be based in or be able to work from San Jose, CA.
• BS degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience managing technical product development.
• 10+ years of experience as an engineer developing products, preferably in the medical device industry.
• Experience with medical device capital equipment development.
• Experience working within a phase-gate development process.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree.
• Portfolio Management Professional (PMP) certification.
