What you will do

• Monitor and troubleshoot RF/wireless network performance for system reliability
• Support installation, configuration, and maintenance of smart grid infrastructure
• Assist with deployment of AMI, SCADA, and grid communication systems
• Coordinate with teams, vendors, and field crews on installations and upgrades
• Perform firmware updates, configurations, equipment provisioning, and documentation
• Participate in emergency response and after-hours troubleshooting

Requirements

• 4+ years in network engineering, telecom, or wireless networking
• Strong knowledge of routing & switching, TCP/IP, DNS/DHCP
• Experience with RF, wireless, or telecom technologies
• Hands-on experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting network equipment
• Ability to work in office and field environments, lift up to 50 lbs

Nice to have

• Experience with AMI or smart grid technologies
• Background in utilities, energy, telecom, or large-scale networks
• Experience with SCADA or distribution automation
• Certifications: CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, CWNA
• Senior-level: Design RF infrastructure, lead implementations, mentor juniors, automation/scripting
