What you will do

• Develop and optimize big data pipelines to ensure accuracy, consistency, and performance.
• Design scalable solutions for extracting, transforming, and loading unstructured data for analysis.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality features and resolve technical challenges.
• Monitor data pipeline infrastructure and performance, implementing improvements for scalability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with data platforms, analytics, or cloud environments.
• Proficiency with AWS (including EMR), big data tools, data lakes, and SQL-based databases.
• Working knowledge of Terraform, Python, Java, and ETL workflows.
• Must be located in St. John's or Toronto, Canada to support a hybrid work environment.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with cloud security architecture and AWS services.
• Prior experience supporting production-grade systems in cloud environments.
