Mechanical Engineer (Food & Dairy)

Location: Based in Fritzlar, Germany, with travel to Aarhus, Denmark (60-90 days per year). Must be eligible to work in Germany and Denmark.

What you will do

• Develop, design, and review structural and mechanical systems for ice cream machinery.
• Calculate and specify mechanical systems and components.
• Create 3D designs, assemblies, and part drawings using Creo and Windchill.
• Evaluate designs for safety, functionality, cost, and manufacturability (DFM/DFS).
• Manage customer projects and provide on-site support globally.
• Support sales with customized specifications and cost calculations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering with experience in mechanical systems.
• Proficiency in 3D design and calculation of mechanical components.
• Extensive knowledge of materials and metalworking/manufacturing processes.
• Eligibility to work in Germany and Denmark.
• Good proficiency in both German and English (oral and written).
• Experience with Creo and Windchill.

Nice to have

• Experience in the food and dairy industry.
• Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP).
