What you will do

• Lead delivery of integrated co-simulation packages for virtual thermal systems design, development, and validation.
• Resolve program issues by coordinating with co-simulation partners across teams.
• Advocate for virtual methods in vehicle design, development, and validation.
• Serve as point of contact for co-simulation users in thermal systems.
• Forecast needs, plan resources, and define innovation opportunities.
• Align with software releases and ensure packages meet governance standards.

Requirements

• BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science.
• 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with CAE tools like GT Power, AMESIM, Carsim, Carmaker, MATLAB/Simulink.
• Proven teamwork balancing technical theory and practical limitations.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Nice to have

• MS in relevant field.
• Familiarity with VCS (Git, SVN, TFS) and SDM (Teamcenter, RTC).
• Familiarity with CFD tools (STAR-CCM+, FLUENT, SIMERICS).
• Experience characterizing thermal systems with CFD and 1D models.
• Practical automotive experience or participation in teams like Formula SAE.
