What you will do

• Operate CNC punch press machines to manufacture parts from sheet metal or metal plates.
• Prepare, set up, and adjust punch press machinery based on product plans and production schedules.
• Ensure sufficient raw materials are available to fulfill work orders.
• Inspect and evaluate finished pieces for compliance with quality standards and specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on the punch press machine and maintain a safe work area.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience operating a CNC punch press machine.
• At least three years of experience in metal fabrication or related work preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and follow product plans, including blueprints and drawings.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Physical ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 35 pounds.
