Press Brake Setup Specialist (Sheet Metal Manufacturing): Manually setting up and operating press brake machines per customer specifications with an accent on programming complex bends, blueprint interpretation, and quality inspections. Salary: $26.54 - $32.74 an hour

What you will do

• Operate Amada, Cincinnati, and Bystronic press brakes.
• Program bends including angles, step bends, back gauge transfers, and delays.
• Read blueprints, understand geometric tolerances, and perform flat pattern layouts.
• Conduct thorough part inspections, remove defects, and calculate material gains/losses.
• Train less experienced operators and identify process improvements for cost and waste reduction.
• Maintain clean work areas and perform related duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years sheet metal manufacturing experience with press brakes.
• Knowledge of sheet metal in prototype manufacturing.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, SolidWorks, American offset tooling, and adapters.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting, blueprint reading, and use of measuring tools (protractors, calipers, height gauges).
• Attention to detail, communication, time management, teamwork, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Nice to have

• Previous experience in a sheet metal manufacturing environment.
