What you will do

• Lead new program execution, including SOR preparation, controls and robotics design, and equipment buyoff.
• Oversee the design, integration, and plant installation of controls systems for successful launches and performance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies in PLCs, HMIs, industrial networks, robotics, and vision systems.
• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis for existing controls systems.
• Mentor less-experienced controls engineers to upskill the team and support project execution.
• Design and troubleshoot electrical control systems for manufacturing equipment.

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience across multiple Manufacturing Engineering and plant assignments.
• Proficiency with Rockwell PLCs, Fanuc robot programming, and Siemens Sinumerik CNC.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• Hands-on experience with automation controls design from concept through implementation.
• Must have valid US work authorization (no sponsorship provided).
• Ability to travel up to 25%.

Nice to have

• Strong understanding of high-volume manufacturing processes and quality management systems.
• Experience with manufacturing execution, production monitoring, and plant-floor information systems.
• Proven experience leading new product or process launch activities.
• Hands-on experience with industrial controls architectures or vision system programming.
